Doujinshi Index Classification System

TABLES
  1. Doujinshi are listed chronologically by circle, with the earliest books first.
  2. For books released at the same event, I use the circle's listing order (if known).
  3. Each circle with more than four listings in one fandom appears on an individual page.

Cover I have spent a signifcant amount of time producing the best possible thumbnails with Photoshop. Please do not use these images without giving due credit. Please do not direct link any of my images. Those caught doing so will be smited.^_^

Title Original (usually Japanese) titles are listed where known, or in the rare instances where I've managed to parse them. My Japanese needs help, so I can't vouch for their accuracy.

Approximate English translations appear in small italics.
Size
B5 approx. 7x10 inches most common size; usually illustrated
A5 approx. 6x8 inches may be illustrated and/or entirely text-based fanfic ... in Japanese^^
A4 8 1/4 x 11 3/4 inches oversize; uncommon

Every effort has been made to provide accurate size information, but I have seen contradictory information listed for some books. Therefore, accuracy is not 100% guaranteed.
Pages I prefer to provide the number of printed pages included between the covers. This excludes liner sheets (although the paper can be very fancy, indeed!) and cover illustrations. Second-hand information is listed as ~approximate.

Assume printing is monochrome black ink on white paper, unless otherwise noted.
Rating Ratings are notoriously tricky things. These are intended as relative impressions, to serve as a reference point to those who know what they're looking for, not a net-nanny device. (If you're just a young-un, what are doing on this website, anyway?^^) These ratings generally apply to the illustrated content; I can't speak to the content of the Japanese text (with the exception of a couple of RuroKen novels).

Normal Illustrated content is comparable to that of the source material (note that this may include romance, sexual tension, and even modest nudity; it does not necessarily vouch for an "in-character" portrayal).
Mature Some sexuality, but not overly graphic. Somewhere between PG-13 to R.
Explicit Doesn't leave a whole lot to the imagination. I've decided to forego the "Hentai" label, however, as I don't believe that a loving relationship between consenting adults is "perverted." None of these doujinshi are truly hardcore hentai in that respect.
Shounen-ai Literally, "boys love". In this case, focusing on the relationship (implied romance) between two males.
Yaoi Explicit sexuality between two males. I haven't decided how to color-code this yet, as the most explicit illustrations I've seen thus far are comparable to the "Mature" rating above.
